Karan Singh, editor in chief

Karan Singh is a senior and this is his third year on the staff. In the past, Karan has written album reviews, investigative pieces, and features. Karan is also editor-in-chief of the Crow’s Nest, a part of the cross country and track teams, and serves as co-president for Captains United. Outside of school, he loves reading, hanging out with friends, listening to music, curating exhibits for his museum (@karans.museum), vlogging (@karans.vlogs), and dancing at parties.

“To have someone recognize my hard work is greatly appreciated,” school testing coordinator Kimberly Berkey said. Berkey was recognized as an LCPS Spotlighting Hero in Ed.

Students enter the football stadium to evacuate the school building. The evacuation was caused by a gas leak in the school, and all students and staff were asked to quickly leave the school building and go to the bleachers in the stadium outside.

Senior Matt Thorne after breaking the school record in the 55 meter dash. Three weeks later, Thorne went on to break the school record in the 300 meter dash at the VHSL Class 4 indoor track state meet.

The award is voted upon by students to be given to teachers that show excellence in teaching and contribute to making our school a better place. Schutte won Teacher of the Month this past September.
