The annual rowdyruff is a tradition in various Loudoun County Public Schools where high school boys experience the thrill of volleyball for a day. The boys are coached by the varsity girls volleyball players that correspond to their grade. In other words, rowdyruff is the male equivalent of the Power Buff, which occurs in the fall. This year, Rowdy Ruff took place on March 6. This annual tradition may come to an end as VHSL will be implementing boys volleyball as an official sport for Virginia high schools. •
