Senior art show displays the creativity of the 2024 class

The end of year annual senior art show displayed art pieces from every senior in the art program who is seasoned with at least 3 years of art experience. Curated by both art teachers Kyla Jenkins and Stephanie Woshner, the preparation of this show was highly anticipated by everyone and especially them. “This was a unique group as their first year with me was all virtual, then their second year was our hybrid year. So the first time they had a “regular” art class was as juniors. The amount of talent and dedication they displayed was really inspiring.” The show was started at 7pm and lasted an hour with a reception in the hallway with drinks and snacks for the artists and their families. With the buzz in the air from AP testing that same week, it was challenging for preparation but also rewarding for all those involved to make this special event come to life as a final goodbye to their years of creative work. “This show is a yearly tradition and I am always proud of my seniors” Jenkins said, “Everyone was happy, excited and I think a little bit relieved that they pulled it off!”

It teaches them how to professionally display themselves as an artist, whether they continue with art or not, after graduation because, while they were here, they were artists.  It allows the whole school to see what amazing talented artists we have here, who might not otherwise see it.” Jenkins said.

Below is a list of every artist who participated in the show but was not featured in a photo.
