This year at LCHS the “LCPS Open” Wi-Fi network seems to have many more restricted websites than previous years. One of such websites is Netflix. This has obviously caused an upset amongst students. Many students use
the program in their downtime during study halls and many teachers use the program for documentaries in their lesson plans. The restriction of Netflix has caused many problems for students and staff alike. A technician at the
Department of Digital Innovation for Loudoun County Public Schools confirmed that the Netflix block exists county-wide.
